Two (2) wipes placed in a pad holder device are tightened to wipe the wire. Wipes are available in square cross sections from 3/4” (19mm) to 1-½” (38mm). Wipe lengths generally range from 1-1/2” (38mm) to 4” (102mm). Common sizes are ¾” x 2”, 1” x 2”, 1” x 3”. Metric sizes are available. All wipes come with a resin dip prior to cutting, what we call 1 DIP. We do offer another resin dip after cutting, what we call 2 DIPS.
Note: Wipes work best in galvanizing (zinc coating) wire line.
